ALL STUDENTS:

~The October Scholars of the month are as follows:

Ava Carder: Ava is an overall great student that produces high quality work, participates daily, and is a great role model to her peers. She puts effort into everything she does and works hard to maintain good grades. Keep up the great work!

Callahan Foster: Cal is a great student that is always ready to learn as he walks through the doors. During class, he is always asking questions that help him and his peers understand the concepts on a deeper level. His enthusiasm and determination to learn concepts enhances the learning for everyone in the classroom.

Iulia Sava: Iulia’s excitement for learning is exemplary and contagious. She has shown an uncommon dedication to working through our inquiry-based labs in AP Physics and is a creative problem solver.  She has also been an incredibly dedicated anchor member of the D’Evelyn Service Corps; she has proven herself to be an invaluable part of almost all of our projects over the past two years and her commitment to service for the sake of service is admirable.

Brady Sullivan: Brady is not afraid to approach all types of challenges with boldness. He seems to thrive and even derive joy from untangling difficult questions and will not stop working on a problem until he has tackled it. He has come in many times outside of class time for clarification or to explore a topic in more detail. I have really appreciated his follow-through and enthusiasm for the content. He is a leader to his peers by his positive presence in the classroom.

Go Mia!

~Congratulations to the DHS XC team for another incredible meet!  Eliana Thompson and Taylor Haerbig led the girls, again moving them up on our all- time board.  Caleb Faegans led the boys and conquered a longtime goal.  These exciting races were accompanied by great performances and PRs from a majority of the team!  We are so proud of our runners!  Good luck at League Championships on Thursday!

~For the 19-20 School year:  If you have a sibling of a current student to enroll via the sibling lottery, you will do this using your Jeffco Connect log in information.  It will be an Enroll Jeffco link that uses your username and password that you already have for Jeffco Connect.  If your new student is currently at a NON-Jeffco school, you can log in and add the new student to your current Jeffco Connect account.  The Enroll Jeffco system is scheduled to roll out in January 2019 and we will keep you posted as we learn more.  Please call Susan Brown at 303-982-7925 if you have questions or need assistance with your log in information.
